Tiger Dog Media & Publishing Ltd was established in 2012. The company brings together Steve Luck, Editorial Director and Nichola Ross Martin, FCA, Managing Director and Technical Writer.

We each have over 20 years’ experience in a broad range of e-commerce and publishing activities for both online and print. These include design and writing services, providing copy and editorial services for trade and commerce websites, book publishing and packaging, webdesign, SEO optimisation and photography.

Online publishing and e-commerce

Tax online:

Nichola Ross Martin CTA (fellow), FCA  is editorial director of  www.rossmartin.co.uk an online tax database which is designed to act like the intranets used by the large accounting firms in providing a shared source of practical guidance for smaller tax and accountancy practices. This subscription service continues to evolve. It was launched at the end of 2009 and comprising now of over 5,000 tax guides, checklists and notes out subscribers range from the smallest firms to “top twenty” accountancy practices. Our independent sister company Ross Martin Tax Consultancy Ltd provides its Virtual Tax Partner®  support service which provides ad hoc  tax advisory services for subscriber firms and their clients.

Tiger Dog Media and Publishing Ltd creates regular tax newsletters for accountancy and tax firms.

Print: publishing, packaging and editing

Illustrated Books

Drawing from over 45 years’ combined direct experience in producing illustrated books, Tiger Dog Media & Publishing offer a range of editorial and design skills that will meet any specific requirements. Our editorial services range from product development, commissioning and writing, through editing and copy-editing, to proofreading and Americanization. Our extensive range of design services includes conceptual styling, presentations, live layouts, pre-press and ebook production. With both the editorial and design expertise available we offer a complete packaging service and provide final layouts in your required format.

Steve Luck has more than 20 years’ experience in illustrated book publishing. A former executive editor at Octopus Publishing Group/Philip’s, Steve was responsible for a broad range of reference titles, including the best-selling Philip’s Encyclopedia. Steve is also a former editorial director at both The Ivy and Ilex Press, sister book packaging and publishing companies based in Sussex, where he was responsible each year for overseeing the creation of more than 50 illustrated books on a diverse range of subjects. Steve is also a commercial photographer. He has written (and ghost written) many of the leading books on digital photography and contributed to many more.

Charlotte Sanctuary non-executive director is a former Director at KPMG advising and leading on client relationship building, event planning and hospitality for senior clients within the FTSE and Europe. Since retiring from KPMG Charlotte has become a Non-Executive Director of HireSpace Limited, has joined the EventLAB Advisory Board, is a member of the Eve Appeal Development Board and is the Vice Chair Governor at Sir John Colfox Academy, a secondary and sixth form Academy in West Dorset.

Tony Seddon has worked in the design industry for over 25 years, 18 of which have been spent in illustrated book publishing. He has acted as a senior art editor for lifestyle publisher Conran Octopus, as design manager and art director for The Ivy Press and Ilex Press respectively, and as art director for visual arts publisher RotoVision. Tony’s specialist knowledge also extends to the pre-press and production issues presented by co-edition publishing, and he has authored and co-authored several books about graphic design, art direction and typography.
